I love throwing a good party, and I want my guests to have a great time while they're there and take a little something home to remember the good time. Here are a few ideas for creative party favors for all occasions. Something sweet
Everyone loves a little something sweet, so why not send them home with a sweet treat? These 4 ounce cakes are made fresh, are DELICIOUS and even better...they're on sale! Grab these scrumptious cakes available in 4 flavors for 40% off on House Specials this week! My favorite is the Dark Chocolate Oreo Cake and my husband, Chris, loved the Strawberry Shortcake. And - they come in beautiful jars that can be used again.
For the adults
Fill a mason jar with raspberries, strawberries or pineapple, fill with a quality vodka or light rum and let sit (with an occasional shake) for 2 weeks. Decorate with a ribbon and send your guests home with a cocktail they can share at a later time! The Friends Eat Blog gives more instructions on how to infuse alcohol.
For the kids
Throwing a party for your kids can get expensive. So keep the favors cheap. Get jumbo marshmallows, dip in chocolate and sprinkles and wrap in a clear bag with colorful ribbons. Even more, it's a great activity to do with your kids beforehand!
For the gals
Having the ladies over for brunch? Grab some miniature champagne bottles, wrap in light tissue paper and tie a bright ribbon around the neck. A beautiful take home gift in seconds!
Something crafty (AND green!)
These DIY bird seed favors are easy and fun to make and are a lovely decoration outside your guests' window.
