The 4-1-1 on Meera
In each installment of The 4-1-1, we interview a different member of the House Party Team, asking the big questions that are on everyone's minds. In this post, we're chatting with Meera Ganesan, our Sales Development Manager. Meera joined House Party one year ago and supports the Sales, Community, and Marketing Teams.
Meera recently sat down with me to answer some fun questions!
What is your favorite memory working at House Party?
The Christmas Party in NYC last year. It was fun seeing everyone and having a great time!
Dogs or Cats?
I would love to get a pug or a french bull dog when I start a family one day.
What is your favorite season and why?
Fall, because I can go hiking, watching the leaves change color and I love Fall fashion.
What meal could you eat everyday?
I love Mexican food, especially Taco Bell. I go to Taco Bell at least once a week.
How would your colleges describe you?
Smiley and a Hipster
What are your favorite parts at your role at House Party?
I like being the first point of contact with our clients. I also like how the team encourages you to sit on all meetings, which allows me to see a project really come to life. But, most of all, I love the people I work with!
Do you have any siblings?
I have a twin sister named Radha. She is currently in veterinarian school in Kansas.
If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
I would love to travel to Iceland to see the northern lights.
Which book have you read recently?
I read "A Modern Romance" by Aziz Ansari. It's a book about how dating and relationships have changed because of technology.
If you had a super hero power what would it be?
I would like to have the power to apparate. This will give me the ability to transform and appear anywhere in the world since I love to travel.
What are your favorite things to do on the weekend?
I love to explore NYC, take pictures and build my photography skills. I also go to Instagram meetups!
What's the most memorable event that you attended in NYC?
I went on an Instagram meetup event with other photographers to watch the sunrise. With a city moving so fast, it was cool to see people take a step back to enjoy a cool moment so early in the morning.
You mentioned that you went to Hong Kong last year on vacation. What's your most memorable moment?
It's a very densely populated place. You can take a 20 minute bus ride and suddenly be in the most rural areas. You can walk around and climb mountains. And the night life is also cool because you get to meet people from all over the world.
Thanks for your sharing your life with us, Meera!
